Spring is here at Last

The morning started out like any other morning, cold, wet, overcast andlooking like rain. I was not able to sleep in for some reason so I was up and well before 8:00. Around 9:00 my dad wanted me to go help him saw wood, I consented reluctantly. As we approached the log we had pulled out in to the field on a previous trip, we began to smell manure, yes they had spread manure on the field we had our log in, but missed the log by a foot. My Dad began cutting, and I started to split. The wood was ash, and the grain was straight, so it split easily, and was done in a jiffy ( and yes I just said jiffy). We then hutted for some more trees that we could drag out of the woods. There where 3 locus we found and soon felled. We dragged them out just in time because it was getting wormer and the ground was thawing. By now every thing was mud and hard to work in. After filling the truck we headed home with a truck full of fire wood. Now it had cleared up and wormed up considerably, and according to the news paper to stay. That after noon I got a call from my cousin wondering if I wanted to go riding. For those of you who don’t know I got a motorcycle in December. This was the first time I had actually ridden it since I had got it but after an hour and a half and 50miles later I was completely satisfied with the bike, and how the day shaped up. My bike before I got it. I did some stuff to it like put on a D&D slip on and some cosmetic stuff, I’m hoping that the came chain tensionner will come in soon, so I can put that on this week.
