The Buck

Last week me and a bunch of friends went to the buck to see my old ford LTD in there tuff truck race. So after half a year as a farm car it was sent to the track with Eric being the driver. When arriving at The Buck I began to feel out of place. I pulled in and parked beside a truck that I could have easy parked under. A place that you felt over dressed in jeans and a t-shit. There where 2 events going on, the tuff truck and the mud bog. The tuff truck is where you take old cars and run them over ramps and bumps as fast as you can, and the one with the shortest time wins. The mud bog is to see how far you can get in the mud bog before you get stuck. I went to see the tuff truck; it was very entertaining to see all kinds of cars drive over ramps and doing power slides and blowing engines. The mud bog was cool for the first bit, but after a little while all the trucks started to look the same. All in all it was a good time. As for the LTD some thing in the ignition broke, so it was not able to finish the race, but the word on the street is that it can be fixed and ran in another race.

It was a dark balmy night

It was a dark balmy night. And it was around 12:30 or 1:00 when I was passing through town. I was thinking to my self I haven’t gone dumpster diving lately, so I stopped to see what I could find. I started with the Wise dumpster, nothing, so I move on down the line to the Fation Bug dumpster. In it was a bag with sandals I started to look at them to see if they where any good. After inspecting them I decided to take the whole bag, and the bag under it that had even more sandals. After putting the bags in my car I moved on to the radio shack dumpster, where I found 2 intercom systems. By this time I was feeling good about the night and I didn’t even hit Kmart’s largest dumpster located to the side of the store. As I drove around the side of the store, I noticed they didn’t have just one but two large dumpsters. I parked and took a look at the first, nothing, as I was climbing down, movement caught my eye. It was a Kmart employee taking inventory of some lawn furnishings. Before he was able to say any thing I was out of there, along with my 28 pairs of sandals, five pairs of pantyhose and two wireless intercoms.

So much for spring

So you know how I was saying how spring is here, well not any more. Three days after I was out on my motorcycle riding the back roads with the temps in the mid seventy’s, it snows 12 inches. It was a little surprising, the weather men where saying that it was going to get cold again and maybe a chance of snow. Thursday I went to work sun was shining and it was like in the 50s. Buy 10:30 it was in the 60s but clouding over. As soon as the clouds came the temps dropped to the low 40s, and that’s when spring decided to go back in to hiding. To make a long story short rain came, then sleet then snow. Now that I want spring to come I have to enjoy winter.

Here is 2 pics of the snow, taken on my new digital camera.

Gods wonderful creations

Spring is here at Last

The morning started out like any other morning, cold, wet, overcast andlooking like rain. I was not able to sleep in for some reason so I was up and well before 8:00. Around 9:00 my dad wanted me to go help him saw wood, I consented reluctantly. As we approached the log we had pulled out in to the field on a previous trip, we began to smell manure, yes they had spread manure on the field we had our log in, but missed the log by a foot. My Dad began cutting, and I started to split. The wood was ash, and the grain was straight, so it split easily, and was done in a jiffy ( and yes I just said jiffy). We then hutted for some more trees that we could drag out of the woods. There where 3 locus we found and soon felled. We dragged them out just in time because it was getting wormer and the ground was thawing. By now every thing was mud and hard to work in. After filling the truck we headed home with a truck full of fire wood. Now it had cleared up and wormed up considerably, and according to the news paper to stay. That after noon I got a call from my cousin wondering if I wanted to go riding. For those of you who don’t know I got a motorcycle in December. This was the first time I had actually ridden it since I had got it but after an hour and a half and 50miles later I was completely satisfied with the bike, and how the day shaped up. My bike before I got it. I did some stuff to it like put on a D&D slip on and some cosmetic stuff, I’m hoping that the came chain tensionner will come in soon, so I can put that on this week.

Time Flys

Since I last posted so many things have happened. Yesterday I got a call from my older brother informing me that he as set a time for his wedding. Yes time dose fly, since I last posted my 2 older brothers have gotten engaged to Sarah, no not the same one but 2 different ones. Maybe I should get creative and not marry a Sarah. Not only did they pick a girl with the same name but also they are getting married in the same month. My family has now by a ¼. For other things changes internet has changed as well, I get on to my blog to up date and there are all these new features and stuff to use. So I will be trying to keep with my roots sharing lots of pics (because a picture is worth a thousand words, and then I don’t have to write much) and maybe ill throw in a video or two. So the out looks good for this blog so stay tuned for more of my life as posted in my blog.

Well you wanted a short wedding Jared.
